So, you’ve heard of ‘the fourth trimester’ and the need to rest and recover…but your support network is too far away or busy for this to be a reality?

Are you preparing to meet your baby, but wondering what to actually prepare?

Are you about to welcome your second or third child, and determined to avoid the negative experiences you had last time?

I’ve been there. And I’ve got you.

Introducing

Nest

A premium Fourth Trimester doula package for modern mums who know the true value of support.

Nest is a nurturing embrace for mothers and families throughout pregnancy and the fourth trimester. This package is for those who yearn to feel deeply supported, nourished, and protected during this transformative time.

I am passionate

about supporting mothers

Hi, I’m Jasmine - The Bayside Doula. I help new mothers prepare for, and enjoy their first year of motherhood using my personal and professional wisdom combined with practical in-home services.

I have always wanted to support those struggling to thrive. And after experiencing first-hand the benefits of Fourth Trimester planning and support I was inspired. I combined my loves of psychology, massage, entrepreneurship, and motherhood into this rewarding and nourishing business.

When I’m not in the home of new mums in Brisbane and Redlands, you’ll find me navigating my own sometimes chaotic life as an ADHD mother of two. I share my brutally honest experiences and helpful content in the blog and private Facebook group so that others know they are not alone. I get it. And I’ve got you,

Tuesday visits from Jasmine were my favourite part of the week!
— Stacey, Mum of two

It takes a village

You’ll hear that phrase a lot, but what does it really mean? Perhaps you don’t have family nearby, or you’re the first in your friendship group to become pregnant. Maybe you have family down the road but they lack healthy boundaries or an understanding of what you need.

I have cared for women who fall into each of these categories and they have all breathed easier knowing they had someone in their corner; someone they could lean on.

I wish I had booked in postpartum doula services while I was pregnant. Pre-planning for the fourth trimester, and having the extra support would have saved me from a lot of stress, tears, panicked Google rabbit holes and fights with my partner.

—Hayley was gifted my services at 7 months postpartum. Hayley promptly booked my fourth trimester package when she became pregnant with her second baby.

Some of the services I provide to my clients:

  • Planning & Preparation

We’ll work together to create a personalized community- and self-care plan for your postpartum journey, involving your co-parent and other resources to ensure you’re fully supported. By planning ahead, we can reduce stress, maximize peace and joy, and set the stage for a smooth transition into motherhood. Every postpartum package includes prenatal visits, where we’ll collaborate to make your ideal fourth trimester a reality.

  • Postnatal Massage

Whether you’re one week postpartum or six months, it’s vital to support your physical recovery. While your baby sleeps, take some time for yourself—hop up on the massage table and let me help you relax and rejuvenate. I am no stranger to multitasking and I’ll even babywear babies under three months while I massage.

  • Cooking

After birth, staying well-fed and hydrated is crucial. I’ll cook homemade meals and snacks tailored to your needs as a new mother, with warm teas and nutrient-dense treats in abundance. I can even shop for ingredients on the way over. You can also book a ‘fill your freezer’ session before the birth, where I’ll help you stock the fridge ready for the weeks ahead.

  • Emotional Support

For example, my first postpartum visit will usually include the opportunity for you to tell me your birth story and to debrief. We can discuss any lingering doubts or concerns you might have. If you have birth trauma I can help you access further support and healing.

  • Extra Support & Coordination

Need help connecting with a breastfeeding specialist or setting up a Meal Train with friends and family? I’m here to assist with these and other practical behind-the-scenes tasks, making sure you have the support you need during this time.

  • Breastfeeding Support

I offer breastfeeding education during prenatal visits or online. After your baby is born, I offer gentle reassurance and practical tips, empowering you to build confidence as you and your newborn learn this new skill together.

  • Baby Care & Guidance

I’m here to support you, not to take over—so I won’t be holding the baby unless you ask. I can care for your little one while you sleep, rest, or enjoy a meal with both hands free. If you’re feeling unsure, I can guide you through baby bathing, settling, nappy changing, and more, helping ease any nerves you or your co-parent might have.

  • Tidying & Light Cleaning

I’ll always leave your home a little sparklier than when I arrived. How much I clean depends on your needs that day, but my goal is always to lighten your load so you can focus on bonding with your baby and resting. A clear, peaceful space for you to relax—that’s the gift I hope to leave behind.

  • Baby Massage

I can teach baby massage to you and your co-parent. This is a great way to help you both relax and help facilitate the bond between you and your baby. Baby massage is all about connection, so I don’t overcomplicate the process.

I always feel lighter after seeing Jas and treasure her support and knowledge. Her massage services provided a wonderful experience for me and she was able to loosen my upper back and shoulders that have been so sore.
