You’re doing it all, but you don’t have to
Doula support for beyond the fourth trimester
It takes a village
I’m sure you’ve heard that phrase a lot. But what does it really mean? Perhaps you don’t have family nearby, or you’re the first in your friendship group to have a baby. Maybe you have family down the road but they lack healthy boundaries or an understanding of what you need.
I have cared for women who fall into each of these categories and they have all breathed easier knowing they had someone in their corner; someone they could lean on.

I am passionate
about supporting mothers
Hi, I’m Jasmine - The Bayside Doula. I help new mothers prepare for, and enjoy their first year of motherhood using my personal and professional wisdom combined with practical in-home services.
I have always wanted to support those struggling to thrive. And after experiencing first-hand the benefits of Fourth Trimester planning and support I was inspired.
I combined my loves of psychology, massage, entrepreneurship, and motherhood into this rewarding and nourishing business.
When I’m not in the home of new mums in Brisbane and Redlands, you’ll find me navigating my own sometimes chaotic life as an ADHD mother of two. I share my brutally honest experiences and helpful content in the blog and private facebook group so that others know they are not alone. I get it. And I’ve got you,
“When Jasmine contacted me I was in the trenches of horrendous sleep deprivation, anxiety and depression. I was trying and failing to ‘fix’ my sons sleep. Jasmine provided the emotional support and wisdom from a Mama who has walked the sleep deprivation path herself ... Truly worth every penny, save your money on the Snoo/sleep consultant and book in with Jasmine.”

Inviting someone into your sanctuary is a profoundly personal choice
So let’s have an obligation-free phone or video chat to get to know each other and discuss your priorities and needs.
Some of the services I provide to my clients:
-
Village Building
We’ll work together to create a personalised community- and self-care plan for your postpartum journey, involving your co-parent and other services to ensure you’re fully supported. With a few key strategies we can reduce stress, maximise peace and joy, and set you on a better path through motherhood.
-
Postnatal Massage
Whether you’re one week postpartum or six months, it’s vital to support your physical recovery. While your baby sleeps, take some time for yourself—hop up on the massage table and let me help you relax and rejuvenate. I am no stranger to multitasking and I’ll even babywear babies under three months while I massage.
-
Cooking
Staying well-fed and hydrated is crucial, not just in the newborn phase. I’ll cook homemade meals and snacks tailored to your needs as a busy mother, with warm teas and nutrient-dense treats in abundance. I can even shop for ingredients on the way over and help you with meal planning as your baby starts solids.
-
Emotional Support
My first postpartum visit will usually include the opportunity for you to tell me your birth story, regardless of how long ago your birth was. Many mothers haven't had the opportunity to unpack their births with a non-judgemental space holder. As a postpartum professional and mother I welcome sharing on all things motherhood, relationships, matrescence, neurodivergence, infant sleep and more.
-
Tidying, Organisation & Cleaning
I’ll always leave your home a little sparklier than when I arrived. How much housework I do depends on your needs each week, but my goal is always to lighten your load so you can focus on enjoying your baby and resting. A clear, peaceful space for you to relax—that’s the gift I hope to leave behind.
-
Extra Support & Coordination
Many mums feel like they are just treading water. I connect families with breastfeeding specialists, cleaners, counsellors, mothers groups, etc. I’m here to assist with these and other practical behind-the-scenes tasks, making sure you don't have to spend hours searching on Google when you could be resting or bonding with your baby.
-
Infant Feeding Support
I offer breastfeeding education, gentle reassurance and practical tips, empowering you to build confidence. I can help with bottle feeding and starting solids.
-
Baby Care & Guidance
I’m here to support you, not to take over—so I won’t be holding the baby unless you ask. I can care for your little one while you sleep, rest, or enjoy a meal with both hands free. If you’re feeling unsure, I can offer guidance in baby sleep, baby play and care, and more, helping ease any nerves you or your co-parent might have.
-
Baby Massage
I can teach baby massage to you and your co-parent. This is a great way to help you both relax and help facilitate the bond between you and your baby. Baby massage is all about connection, so I don’t overcomplicate the process.
Have you been told, ‘It takes a village’?
It does take a village to support a family…but the ‘village’ is often far away, out of touch, or non-existent.
It takes planning and effort to build a support network, and I’m here to help.
